Terms and Conditions for House of Clayton Effective Date: May 18, 2026

Welcome to House of Clayton. By booking a tour, accessing our website, or participating in our walking tours in Savannah, Georgia, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your booking.

1. Booking and Deposits

• To secure a spot on a House of Clayton tour, upfront payment is required at the time of booking.
• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We operate under a strict cancellation policy to ensure fairness to our guides and other travelers.

• Cancellations by House of Clayton: We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled tour due to dangerous weather conditions or guide sickness or family emergency. If House of Clayton cancels your tour for these reasons, you will receive a full 100% refund.
• Cancellations by the Guest (More than 24 Hours Notice): If you need to cancel your tour, you must notify us at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made outside of this 24-hour window will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations by the Guest (Within 24 Hours Notice): If you cancel your tour within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled start time, or fail to arrive at the designated meeting spot within 10 minutes of the designated tour start time, your payment is strictly forfeited and non-refundable.

3. Weather Policy 

Tours operate rain or shine under normal Savannah weather conditions. Guests are advised to dress appropriately for outdoor walking. In the event of severe, unsafe weather (such as lightning storms or severe flooding), House of Clayton will make the decision to cancel the tour in accordance with Section 2.

4. Participant Conduct and Safety

• Guests are responsible for their own safety, well-being, and personal belongings during the tour.
• House of Clayton tours navigate public sidewalks and historic squares. Participants must be capable of walking the designated route and are expected to wear appropriate footwear.
• We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any participant from a tour who acts disruptively, unlawfully, or poses a safety risk to themselves, the guide, or other guests. We have a ZERO tolerance policy for all forms of hate. No refunds will be given in any of the aforementioned Conduct and Safety circumstances. 

5. Limitation of Liability

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that walking tours involve inherent physical movement in public spaces. House of Clayton, its owners, and its guides are not liable for any personal injury, illness, property damage, loss, or theft sustained during the tour.

6. Changes to Terms

House of Clayton reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will become effective immediately upon being posted to our website.
